Course Description: Understanding Meridians and Acupoints for Health Maintenance

Meridians are a three-dimensional network that completely covers the human body, carrying life energy much like rivers, lakes, and seas on Earth, or the roads in a city. They are present everywhere, connecting every inch of the body, and are crucial for our well-being.

The human body is a material life system, while the meridians form the invisible energy system that supports life. Without the continuous flow of energy through these meridians, the human body cannot function properly, leading to illness or even death.

What Are Acupoints?

Acupoints are key locations along the meridians where energy flows and connects to the internal organs. Each acupoint has a unique function, and by stimulating these points, we can regulate the flow of energy in the meridians, restoring balance and improving the functions of the internal organs.

For example:

  • Qimen Point: Regulates liver energy and improves liver function.

  • Zusanli Point: Regulates the stomach’s energy, enhancing digestive function.

  • Sanyinjiao Point: Regulates the energy of the spleen, kidneys, and liver, improving hematopoietic, reproductive, and digestive functions.

Disease in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM):

From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, most diseases stem from blockages in the body’s channels (such as meridians, blood vessels, and emotions) and a lack of energy (resulting in slow metabolism, poor digestion, and mental fatigue).

While everyone has a strong self-healing ability, this ability weakens when the body is low in energy and clogged with waste and toxins. Over time, this leads to accumulated diseases (such as high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, tumors, depression, etc.).

Maintenance Ideas:

According to TCM theory, we have designed a course focused on Acupoint Vibration, targeting the most important acupoints to clear blockages and activate energy. While there are many acupoints, it is impractical to maintain all of them daily. Instead, we focus on the most crucial points to eliminate waste and activate vital energy.

The course consists of 4 parts, covering 17 acupoints:

  • Emotional Cleanse: 5 acupoints to clear emotional blockages.

  • Metabolic Waste Cleanse: 4 acupoints to remove waste from internal organs.

  • Activate Innate Life Energy: 4 acupoints to boost the body’s natural energy.

  • Activate Digestive Energy: 4 acupoints to improve spleen and stomach function.

If we compare the human body to a bottle of water, children’s bodies are clear, adults’ are turbid, and as we age, the water becomes increasingly dirty.

By practicing once a day, we can clear the body of waste and replenish fresh energy, just like emptying out some of the dirty water and adding clean water daily. With consistent practice, we will regain our self-healing ability, maintain a clean body, and improve our overall health. The result is reduced sickness and a healthier, stronger body.
