This course is designed because:
The liver is the wood in the five elements, promoting the vigorous growth and expansion of the body’s life energy. It has the following functions:

Promote the growth and development of energy in the body, just like trees always grow upward. If negative emotions accumulate in the body, it will inhibit the growth of energy and the body will lose vitality.

Store and regulate blood in the body. When exercising, blood flows from the liver to the limbs. When lying down to rest, blood flows back from the limbs to the liver, and the liver gets a rest. Therefore, people with poor livers need to lie down and rest more.

Digestive function. The liver is responsible for secreting bile and digesting meat. If bloating and diarrhea occur after eating meat, it is usually because the liver function is reduced and the bile secreted is insufficient.

Eliminate toxins. The liver is responsible for breaking down toxins in food, drugs, and foreign substances such as alcohol. Excessive drugs or alcohol can damage the liver.

Chinese medicine liver theory:
The liver is a system.

The liver and gallbladder are brothers, responsible for ligaments and tendons throughout the body.
Nails can reflect the function of the liver. Brittle nails, vertical lines, and loss of luster indicate decreased liver function.
The eyes are connected to the liver. When liver function declines and cannot store enough blood, vision declines and eyes become dim.

How to maintain the liver system?
The liver is located deep in the body and we cannot reach it, but according to Chinese medicine theory, we can exercise the liver in many ways to improve the liver’s energy and help liver health.

The rib area is the house where the liver is located. Unobstructed blood in the ribs is good for liver health.

Unblocking the liver meridian is very beneficial to liver health. The liver meridian starts from the big toe, along the midline of the calf and inner thigh, through the groin, genitals, abdomen, and finally to the liver.

When the liver is sick, garbage accumulates in the armpits. Cleaning up the garbage helps restore liver function.

Bile is the channel for the liver to excrete garbage. It promotes bile secretion and cleans the bile duct, which helps the health of the liver.

Clear anger and depression and protect the liver.

Looking at green often is good for your eyes and liver health, so the text color of the course is green.

In music, the sound of “jue” of Chinese Guqin is good for liver; so we choose it as the BGM of the course.
